We support the work of the Poor People's Campaign in calling for a moral revival that addresses systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation’s distorted morality. We do so not because of shared partisan politics but because the gospel of Jesus Christ demands us to act on behalf the least and the last, in solidarity with the poor and the marginalized, and to live lives of justice and compassion.
We support the work of the Church Council of Greater Seattle, broadly speaking, and we especially commit to the its work in the Sanctuary Movement, advocating with and for immigrants and refugees whose lives in the US are imperiled by flawed immigration policy.
We support the work of Call of Compassion NW, working to make compassion a part of everyday life.
